Away from their home,
in the dark of the night
a mother and father
take flight amidst fright.
The mother is seated.
The father is near.
Guided and treated
by stars that appear.
Healers with magic
and wisdom to spare.
Present-day men
of science take care.
Unto us a son is given,
another son appears as well.
Like Atlas they shall hold unriven
the whole wide world in which they dwell.
But that remains a future day
for now they lie in mother’s arms.
And she with love lets both them lay
holy, sacred, are her charms.
A love like hers may save all men
if all such love men showed, what then?
Beneath the wings of a mother hen
gathered in peace, each other’s kin.
Central to every sacred family…
beats the heart of a sacred mother.
And that’s why I love you so immensely.
